I'm looking for some ideas on a grippy tire but narrow.
I'm moving to Lincolnshire and in the absence of real hills I'm gonna race some Cyclocross this autumn/winter(on my mtb)
I've managed to locate a few the Continental Cross Country 1.5 being the narrowest. Does anyone else know of any around the same width maybe less.

I think if you went any narrower and kept mtb rims, you'd end up with flat spots on the rim whenever you hit a bump, as the tyre wouldn't have enough volume.0
