Kona kikapu deluxe 2007 - fork upgrade

I bought a Kona kikapu deluxe 2007 about 18 months ago and got loads of enjoyment out of it. The stock fork is a Marzocchi mz race, I am looking to upgrade the fork and friends have recommended the rock shox revelation 426 u-turn, I am litlle concerened as the current fork is only 100mm travel and the revelation goes up to 140mm. I would like more travel on the front end but do not know what the maximum my bike can take. The bike manual only says 'not suitable for double clamp suspension forks' (which I assume the revelation is not) and to get advice from my dealer. I got the bike from wiggle, and I have emailed them but I have not received a response yet. I have also spoke to the people at my LBS and they say not to go more than 130mm. Any advice from the guys on here would be appreciated.
Should I go with the Revelation?

Check with Kona what lngth fork it can handle. If 100mm I'd get a Reba.0

Or you could go with the U-Turn version of the Revelation and just run it at the max for the frame, then of you decide to upgrade in the future you just wind it back up again to it's full travel. Maxle system is also really good for tightening up the front end.
But Supersonic is a bit of a Guru, so just my thoughts0
