is the timberland trail (Bristol) way marked?
i'm looking at riding Bristols Timberland trail tomorrow. does anyone know if it's waymarked? i couldn't find much info on the Bristol Trails Group website - but that's biased towards trail maintainance (for obvious reasons)
and i take it the best place to park is in the cafe' car park, the other side of the gatehouse...?
thanks in advance

It is waymarked, but some of the markers are missing and it's easy to get "lost", but it's pretty easy to get yourself on track again though. If you go on a warm Sunday afternoon, there will be plenty of other people on the trail, so if you need help, it'll be there.
It's terrible in the wet though!0 -

Yep, i can vouch for that. And why is the mud bright orange? :roll:0 -
i rode it yesterday - thanks for the replies!
i was surprised how well it held up to the weather. there's obviously a lot of ground work gone into it. it wasn't boggy at all, but just damp enough to make it very slippery.0
