Which is the best one with saddlebag loops, is pretty narrow&sporty but is only around £60?

B17 Narrow?

The B17 certainly isn't sporty looking, but if you're handy with a stanley knife and butcher it then you can get the 'sporty' look of the more expensive swift/swallow saddles. I have a butchered B17 on my Kuota Kharma and it looks pretty good IMO.

The team pro looks like the one for me. It even has a cool name, but the cheapest one doesn't have saddlebag loops?

    Ay caramba!

Sounds like a huge amount of hassle to save, what £40? Personally I'd be scared of ruining the saddle and/or taking off a finger or two.

If you want something sporty-looking then pony-up the extra money for a Swallow.

Bear in mind that the Swallow and the B17 are (IIRC - check with the Brooks website) the narrowest and longest saddles while the Team Pro is shorter. The leather on the Swift is the most elastic, the Team Pro and B17 the least.

You can buy saddle bag loops from Spa Cycles then add them to the loopless cheaper Team Pro

Sort of defeats the purpose of getting a Brooks without saddlebag loops just to bolt those sorts of things - might as well just stick with my Fizik Arione and bolt something on

Agreed. But you don't just buy a saddle because it has bag loops?

I want a Brooks, and I might aswell get the full package. They're already heavy enough, and bolting stuff on is bound to make them even heavier.

I'll probably up my budget and get a more expensive one with loops.
