I need to hear the noise of the tyres. No music for me.
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

Personally, don't listen on the trails - like to be able hear my bike and other people coming - tend to stick the stereo on nice and loud to get psyched up when i'm getting ready before a ride, just imagine it, a slightly overweight guy squeezing into lycra whilst dancing to 'Eye of the Tiger'

only joking, seriously though - kasabian's and prodigy's new albums are both great for before ride....also like a bit of Monkey Wrench or Pretender by Foo Fighters....

Same as some posters here, I don't listen to much music on the bike, although I have recently started sticking the mp3 player on when going our for boring training rides.

I listen to a lot of M3T3ORS stuff , so No Surrender is my agressive riding song 8)
  • Ramones and AC/DC! Although if I'm proper mountain biking I listen to only the clatter of the bike, the wind in my ears and my heart pounding out of my chest!

    Thumbs up marinman1 8)

the first is great imo should have been on the album, the second is a great cover of the stooges, they often perform it live, cant wait till the new album comes out and the amazing tour that follows :D

+1 for Skindred that tune proper makes you stomp on the pedals (only to relieve boredom on the commute though never ride with music on the trails)

    other tunes I recommend -
    * Any High Contrast album, you can't beat a bit of D&B to get the heart rate up
    * The Hives - Black Jack
    Current Rides -
Charge Cooker, Ragley mmmBop, Haro Mary SS 29er
