Nah it's because of my black eyes and hunched over shuffling gait.0 -

Job well done I reckon! Thanks.
Starter thread is great.0 -
I don't know if I dare suggest this, but what about a: "Where's that sticky gone?" sticky for a week or so, with the earlier posts above quoted in it?
Would save people wondering.0 -

Without wishing to be too critical, some of what is posted in the accident sticky is wrong in law.
What is being advised re prosecutions is wrong
Also what is said re reporting accidents is wrong as far as what cyclists have to do
I will PM you later with the specific points I have, but am concerned that this website is purporting to give what may be reasonably accepted as advice - yet the advice is wrong in law. You arepotentially opening the publishers up to a civil claim by anyone who loses out by following the "advice" on this thread.
Its a minefieldWant to know the Spen666 behind the posts?

Another forum I know just has a rule to close down any legal or medical threads - as it's just too risky in case someone should follow advice given on a forum and have things go wrong.0 -

Just a thought/suggestion trying to anticipate some possible reaction and how to mitigate it. Not an issue for me as I have been following this thread.0 -

Trying to be economical with my words obviously left ambiguity. I meant letting people know that the thread had not been mdded out of existence (a la recent London Bridge incident thread) as opposed to the stickiness of the thread being modded.
Just a suggestion after this post http://www.bikeradar.com/commuting/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12573143&start=743. As I said, not something I feel strongly about; just trying to anticipate a need, and suggest an interim mitigation plan (gawd, I'm clearly still in 'work' letter writing mode here :roll: )0 -

Possibly not a good idea not to take legal advice from an anonymous internet poster either.“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -
@Whyamihere.
Good work on the Beginners thread, may be useful to add advice on the TaxFree Cycle to Work schemes“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -
Why did the stickie cross the road?
