Just took delivery of my new ride.

A Giant Anthem Zero This thing is sooooo fast!

Got a shorter Thompson stem and low riser carbon bars for a very fast trail bike feel.

Thanks, yep its an 08, cost a few pennies but worth it.

I just cant get over how fast it accelerates, had quite a few longer travel bikes and a few hardtails in my time but nothing as fast as this plus it can take a hammering as well.

Think its just a bit of shock protector, to stop water getting into a frame - not recommended
