After moving to South Wales (in between Afan, Glyncorrwg and Cwmcarn!!) my trusty 1999 GT I-drive is struggling on the terrain - i've upgraded it but feel i really need a new bike!
So the dilemma begins....

A Lapierre Spicy 516 (either 2009 or 2010)
A Lapierre Zesty 514
A Trek Remedy 8 (love 09 model but by time i get money will be prob too late!)

Or a wild card....

Second hand 2009 model Santa Cruz Nomad (w/ Lyriks)

I rode the Nomad at Glyncorrwg back in April on a demo day and was blown away by its potential however couldnt afford a brand new one as the spec i'd want would be around £4k (just too much)

Thanks in advance,
**2009 Trek Remedy 8**

Specialized P.3 (custom) w/ Deore hydro discs, XT group, Blackspire device, Mavic D321's

unless all your gonna be doing is riding the freeride @ cwm carn, ther nomad is too big a bike for trail riding. something lighter and more trail oriented would be better. but with a tough build for the cwm carn freeride. maybe something like a trek fuel EX9, or a commencal meta 5.5, or a Santa Cruz blur LT
    I like bikes and stuff
