On Saturday my missus and I finished the Trans Wales mtb event. We had a thoroughly good time.The riding was a brilliant blend of natural, sometimes extremely challenging, stuff and trail centre riding. We were spoilt with brilliant weather overall, only scattered showers and the atmosphere and camaraderie was amazing. The views in the remote moors were stunning. Highlights for me included "The Splashes" and "The Duckponds" both natural sections that were "interesting" to say the least!
Good food and good organisation overall (much improved from last year's event) rounded off a tough and tiring but incredible week. We'd done the previous two events as well and this was going to be our last one but I enjoyed it so much I may well venture back again. Hats off to the organisers for a great event.
