I'm partial to a bit of Castelli.
I also find that Gore shorts fit me well.

I'm on the lookout for some other brands to try, what are your favourites?

I'm not really into team kit, and my budget doesn't stretch to Assos, but feel free to post up if that is your preference.

Cheers.

My personal favourite is for Santini. I find that it is well made, well priced (via Prendas) and fits me well. As I'm very slim, I previously struggled with UK and American based companies sizing - all of them being cut too large for my svelte figure. As a bonus, I think it looks pretty good too! 8)

Being too svelte is not a problem I share with you. I'll probably strike Santini from the list on that basis...

...they do make sizes other than "small!"

  • Giordana make our club kit and that's pretty nice.

My favourite for barely affordable luxury, worth-every-penny kit is Etxeondo.

Don't be too hasty - I'm 5'9" tall,13.5 st and svelte is not most people's first choice word to describe me

I think Santini is great kit. Get in touch with Mick & Andy at Prendas - they will help you find the correct size & they usually carry every size from XS - XXXL. Twistgel bibshorts are bliss to ride in.

I also like Vermarc, but they seem limited to team kit here in the UK.

I'm the same height and have got a stone on you. What size do you take, out of interest?

I'm an xxl in Castelli, xl in Gore.

I'd also recommend Santini jerseys (I wouldn't say it's any slimmer than other makes though). I've also got a Sportful one that I got at a sportive which is pretty nice.

I'm a Large in bibshorts as I have short legs and an XL in jerseys.

I'm a Large in both Castelli jerseys & shorts.

    If it helps you, I'm a 33" waist & 42" chest.

Gore is nice, fits me well. But it is kind of ordinary, in a gets the job done but not at all stylish kind of way.

(I am aware that no cycling gear is actually stylish to anyone that isn't a cyclist and probably not even to a majority that are)

Assos mostly. Best kit out there imo. Campag occasionally, castelli now and again, and just a little Aldi lol.

Assos is way outta my budget, I could possibly justify it for bibshorts if they really are THAT much better. Don't think I can square away £100 on a top though.

Exteonodo is a new one on me, I'll check them out.

I'm a gore man all the way, good selection, good quality, good price, good fit. And the exact reason it doesn't stand out is why I like it, wolf in sheeps clothing i like to think. :P
