Has ANYONE suffered from knob numbness using one of these saddles?

I am currently using a Specialized Toupe which although OK I am considering trying out something else on my new bike. I have suffered with knob numbness in the past but only get it infrequently with the Toupe. I am fully aware that everyone is different and my aim is not to start a 'my ar$e fits this saddle' debate, but merely to canvas opinion to see af anyone has suffered numbness with an Aliante.

Thanks in advance.
Cobbles are all very well but I'd rather be riding towards the South of France

I have been riding on an Aliante for the last 4 or so years and yes there is a little numbness down there but it soons comes round so to speak after the ride.

You are right of course and it's possible the Aliante is not the saddle for you.

...sorry, I'm trying to get the picture out of my mind of you "raising the dead"

Depends on the model of Aliante, but the carbon / ti model is probably the most forgiving saddle this side of one of those gel, sofa-like monstrosities. Having ridden the P-Rx sportive a few times, my backside was one of the few places not to be suffer numbness. Sadly, the cover has worn through after 7 years - might send it back to Fizik for a re-cover?
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • Barry - I suffered numbness with an Arione and switched to a Toupe and the problem is now sorted. I found the Toupe took a bit of getting used to, but I'm happy with the way it works now, comfortable etc, and now putting one on my winter bike.

No it'sok I don't have to raise the dead at all, it soons comes round and is functional again very soon after the ride. fnaarrgghh fnarrgghh
