On One 456 Ti 'my opinion 4 what its worth'

Whilst being relatively new to Mountain Biking I am not relatively new to evaluating good gear and being hyper critical with it. So with wanting the best ride for my hard earned I set about deciding what I actually wanted in a bike...Owning a full susser and a hard tail already and having to transport both around to different rides and venues i was aware that I really wanted one machine that would cover 80% of the routes and rides i rode, so, with that in mind i did my research...Magazines, opinions, revues etc etc. I decided that a good long- fork hard-tail in Titanium would cover the majority of my needs, but which one?
Luckily living in Bury I am within striking distance of several large and private retailers and thus I was able to discuss the pros and cons of Ti Hard-Tails with many 'experts' on this matter.
I was also lucky enough to have been away abroad working for a month and return to about 10 different Ti bikes reviewed in this months mags...more confusion!
I was fortunate enough to loan a Van Nicholas Mam Tor from Leisure Lakes to evaluate for a week...nice bike and good spec but after taking it on 4 days riding covering fenland lanes, technical trail centres and flowing cross country including Whinlatter and Gisburn I was in large happy with its cross country performance, but it let itself down by being a touch flighty and wandering on technical uphill bends and rock, a problem that could probably be sorted by a different fork me thinks.
After much frustration and pondering I was then fortunate enough to purchase an 'On One' 456 Ti advertised on this forum and after reading some awesome revues and seeing this full XTR fitted bike...bought it on sight and prayed it would be everything for all rides!
Fen lanes, Yorkshire Dales and Gisburn forest later...Im made up! never before have I raced up steep technical hills with such aplomb, rock steady, planted and focused, an absolute dream to ride. The slacker angle and longer top tube coupled with 140mm of plush RS Reolution bouncing at the front made for an astonishing ride on all terrains, I did not have to dismount on climbs once, wet, muddy, rocky and steep, the 'On One' nailed them all, and also went down them all like a 'footballers wag at a charity ball' .
I have been taken to a new level of confidence in my riding and have the On One to thank, it wasnt cheap but it in effect replaces two bikes and covers all of my needs less downhill madness which my aching joints will not reach too.
For those in the market for a One Bike 'do it all' look no further, the On One Ti 456 is the mutts nutts!!!

Doesn't the Mam Tor have roughly the same top tube length and head angle?0
