Hi folks
Does anyone know if these boots are any good or would I be better with overshoes.
I have seen these for £141, and I realise overshoes are a lot cheaper, but it would be worth it for dry feet 8)

Just got some Sidi Diablos - same except SPD - typically lovely fit and construction from Sidi - hasn't rained yet to try them out though. That said, when it's really chucking it down, nothing stops the water running down your legs into the cuff - I'd still wear an overshoe for really horrible days.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

latex drysuit ankle seals (half way down), or, for the economically minded, the wrists cut off a pair of marigold washing up gloves.
The seal has to work against your skin - i.e under longs, so no stirrups.
I use Lake winter boots - leather & dubbin rather than goretex.0 -
You're better off with actual winter boots one size larger than normal imo. Wear decent winter socks such as Woolie Boolies, thus creating 'warm air space' which is crucial to keep your feet nice and warm.
The Sidi ones look very good but I use the cheaper Diadora Chili extreme boots I bought in a LBS sale last year. Which are very effective. Recommended.0 -
stellite...hope they are good...ordered a pair of 'said' boots at 'said' price earlier today, presumably from the same place as you are looking. they've come down in price massively, I was waiting to see if they went lower but they are running out of stock and with winter approaching I thought I'd better not push my luck further!!0
