I'm after a front rack for my Tricross, I like the one on this Salsa.

Anyone know where I can get something similar?

Robin in Bridgewater sells Blackburn racks similar to that fitted to the Salsa. The Salsa doesn't come with racks so hard to find out what model etc it is in the pic. Robin's shop was the first place I tried though other shops will be able to oblige.

CRC sell Blackburn racks without the added cost of postage.

Thanks for the quick reply redvee.

I'm not sure if they will fit my tricross as its a 29 inch wheel, these look like there for mountain bikes.... not sure if that makes a difference!

    thanks anyway.

Tricrosses come with 700c wheels (37x622) MTBs are shod with 26" wheels (35x559) so the difference at the top of the forks is approx 30mm. Blackburn racks allow for this difference and will fit both. If unsure email the e-tailer and then you might have some comeback if it doesn't fit.

  • stuww, that rack in the pic you posted would also fit my subway 2, have been looking for ages as i cant find a front rack to fit as the mech for the disk brakes get in the way. would be nice buddy if we can find out what make that rack is. Have a back rack that made by topeak that fits great but they dont seem to do a front.
