I'm vaugely following the results of this one. Looks like a decent course and some reasonably big names taking part. The one thing that's constantly struck me is just how poor Landis is. He's performed badly in the TT, badly in the climbs etc etc.

The Rock Racing Puerto rejects are going quite well though.

DZ is riding for his own DZ Nuts team.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

He's in his Garmin kit here:

Also noticed that this guy did quite well on stage 1:

I also wonder why the Tour of Utah doesn't have a UCI ranking? Seems to have a fairly international field... better than some 2.1 stage-races in Europe.

  • 11 DQ'd for holding onto vehicles, on the first mountain finish!
Wasn't even the big climb of the race. That is to come,
Shows there's a big spread of talent, in the race.
Rock Racing in a league of their own.......

Check out this SUV that suddenly stopped in front of the amateur race held on the course earlier. A couple of riders went through the rear window, and three more crashed trying to avoid the situation.

Former Festina and US Postal rider David Clinger:

He was riding for Webcor when he got the tattoos done, and let's just say they weren't exactly happy about it.

I read this morning that if you want to interview Floyd Landis you

    a) Are not allowed to talk about 06
    b) have to mention his hip

He's definately had the most terrible come back from a ban I've ever seen. Woeful.

That's DennisN. He's hoping to bump into Aurelio/BikingBernie in a dark alley and scare the crap out of him. Dennis also has some glow in the dark contact lenses to complete the effect, and has had his teeth sharpened into fangs.

    All true, you know.
