if you hold them up to the light you can see straight through them
  • fwarrr... it is one bloody sexy frame...

I'm building up a 29er scandal in british racing green, can't stop stroking the frame

Btw, any chance I could get a pic of how the rear caliper sits? i'm intrigued, as big calipers wont fit!

Looks amazing. Good to see a geared version with the slot drop outs.

I was thinking of getting one myself and was wondering if there is much faf getting the rear wheel on and how far in the slot do you have it? I know my brakes will fit as I have Avids too.

i have the wheel as far in the slot as it will go just to make life easy as for fitting you just pull the chain out and over the cassette then push the wheel in easy 2nd time round lol

I thought that would be the easiest and best way. Do you still have good clearance by the BB? Is the brake easy to fit? I was also a bit concerned about the mech hanger getting bent but I think i'll get one anyhow.

Hey Nick, hows the Scandal going?

Just wondering, what mount have you used for your rear brake? Is it an IS mount?
  • its really nice to ride, ive ridden every weekend since i got it and i love it and its so cheep lol,as for the brake its just a standard is mount like any rear brake
