I need to get some decent flat pedal shoes, which are decent looking an not from fiveten or shimano because I think that they are quite ugly. Possibly from vans, Nike etc. For bombing round the local woods.
Thanks

you cant go wrong with a pair of vans for riding in, they offer decent grip and also look decent, but i still prefer riding in my shimano bike shoes though for proper riding,
  • Oh, and under about £50 :D

    Puma Clydes., no contest.

Cool as you like and a good waffle sole for grip, and more colourways than you can shake a stick at.

I loved my Shimano MP56 shoes, but somehow managed to lose one a couple of weeks ago. Very few sizes now available, but I'd recommend them if you can find some.

They're not the prettiest of shoes, but (in this case) I went for function over form.

Now thinking of the AM40 instead... although they're even more odd-looking!

Have a look at Duffs skate shoes. They have really soft soles. I used them with DMR V8 pedals and they gripped much better than the 5.10s I had.
