Hey it's tom again I'll explain better basicly I want to take this bike and turn it into a road bike, good idea or bad idea. Also how much weight will it add is it possible and how much will it cost me thanks. tom

It can't be done. It has track ends with no gear hanger and a 120mm spaced rear end, so even if you could somehow attach a mech you wouldn't be able to fit a wheel with gears in there. Also, chances are the rear bridge won't be drilled to take a brake even if the front fork is, and the geometry is all wrong for road riding. Even if it was possible it would cost a fair bit. You'd need new wheels and an entire groupset. If you want gears then you're much better selling it and buying a road bike.
