Giant OCR 1.0

Hi

I was wondering if anyone has any experince of the Giant OCR 1.0, a 2006 model. What are they like. Would the frame be an upgrade on my current 2007 Specialized Allez sport?

    This is just my opinion as i haven't owned either bike but i would say the OCR frame is not an upgrade compared to your Allez. Also the OCR had a completely different geometry, ie more racy / shorter headtube than the Allez. Also the Allez frame is always praised in the cycling mags.

    Ok, but the giant has a carbon rear-end, although I somehow suspect that isn't an important point. Do carbon rear-ends actually make a difference in weight and/or stiffness, as I am looking for a racier and stiffer frame.
