... That white spirit will clean a disc ok?
Just put new brake on the rear and had to stick a nice new braided hose on, I know there's no disc contamination because it wasn't in when I bled, and neither where the pads. The just doesn't seem to be that bite I had before.
If WS does work i'll give the disc a quick rub with it to see if that resolves the prob, if not, i'll sand the surface of the pads a little.
Note: Braided hoses do look the dogs nutz haha

White spirit is far too oily. Pure alcohol is best ie IPA. Meths is ok to use.0

You could just try letting them bed in but to be honest if the bite has gone sounds like you do with bleeding them again. Everythime I've bled brakes it's taken a couple of attempts to get them right but the end result has been worth it.It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -
Yeah, it was my first time, but there was no air coming out at all.
If the dnt settle within the week then i'll sand the pads, then re-bleed cause i highly doubt theres any disc con, but not going to rule it out haha0 -

Chemists don't sell IPA anymore. Try Maplins.0
