If yuo're going to wear full club kit for your commute (and why not, it looks sooo cool), maybe you should think twice about running every red light you can find and bunnyhopping onto pavements to overtake queues of cyclists. I'd hate to think Dynamo riders might become stereotyped as arrogant @rseholes who ride like idiots and don't give a monkey's about anyone else.
I was surprised you were running your Bowery with a freewheel, though given the state of your chain perhaps it was wise. If you want to overtake people legally maybe a bigger gear is required? Also, you have adjusted your rear brake caliper with the quick release in the 'open' position.

One of the managers here has a habit of typing replies to emails where he says EXACTLY what he feels.
Then he deletes it and types the calmer version....
We're all praying that he forgets and hits 'Send' with the original.
It does help to write out the frustrations though.. I've done it a few times myself.Chunky Cyclists need your love too! :-)

EP - tall? Black Bowery? If so, know the one you mean. Saw him again this morning. He was on the pavement at a set of lights on the NKR! I've seen him do the same down just past Albert Bridge too.FCN 2-4.

that's the one, great PR for Dynamo :roll:road0

remember the Dynorod website deliberately stops you contacting anyone to tell them they're behaving like pricks.
Best to e-mail their sponsor...

wrong sponsor, its now a certain newish bike shop in sheen.0

Maybe they got tired of all the bad press?0

<Paging>Dynamite to the thread please, Dynamite to the thread<\Paging>
I seem to remember a similar thread to this running last year some time, someone dared to criticise the way they all ride in RP and it was followed up by criticism of some riders commuting style too. Not sure you're likely to get an unreserved apology."Impressive break"
"Thanks...
...I can taste blood"0 -
i don't really care, if he wants to ride like a c0ck all over London in his club kit that's his business. Just letting off a bit of steam. if I see him again I'll tell him about his brake QR and see if that confuses him for a bit.
On a different note, Chapeau to the guy in full Francaise des Jeux kit, including mitts. Those white shorts definitely offer a certain Je ne sais quoi...road0 -

There's no problem running brakes in the open position. I often tighten my brakes so they work perfectly in open and then as they wear down, you can just tighten the lever rather than fiddle about wil an allen key etc to re-tighten it.Do not write below this line. Office use only.0 -
I stand correctedroad0

What the OP described is not riding "style" - it's just cr@p, inconsiderate, dangerous and unnecessarily aggressive cycling. And bad PR for Them Dynamoids.
"Style" is riding smoothly with no obvious effort.___________________________________________

I actually think it might be worth contacting the club. i dont ride for them but I know a number that do and there is a genuine wish from the leading members of the club to be seen as responsible etc etc. I think one of their problems is size ie there are enough of them its inevitable that there will always be a couple of idiots. They might be genuinly interested in weeding them out or at least a warning. I can't think of any club they would want its jersey being seen in a bad light by its peers.0

I had a look at their website a while back
It appears that you don't need to be a member to buy their kit, which I thought was a bit weird. Not climber, not sprinter, not rouleur0 -

Club I was in over in Ireland had some of their kit on sale in the LBS. Kind of made sense though in that the kitmaster had over-ordered for kit and would have been out of pocket if it was never sold. Small club though, not sure if there would be much of a market for it.
Dynamo though I would think would only sell to club members, not as if with their size they'd find it difficult to sell out.'Twas Mulga Bill, from Eaglehawk, that caught the cycling craze....0 -
Weird? Or a cunning ploy that allows them to say "probably not one of our riders" everytime someone calls up to complain?0

I or rather my bike has two sets of levers so i'd have to ajust both sets so i use the lever on the brakes.0
