Rotterdam > Berlin - route and map advice?

Hi,
I'm cycling from rotterdam to berlin and just wondered if anyone has done similar, and could advise on useful maps, or even better, marked routes i might use? ideally a detailed ride report with maps and descriptions
but anything would be good!
i've heard of the eurovelo route 2 which seems to go through rotterdam and berlin but actual information seems very thin on the ground..
likewise the d-netz routes in germany seem to be what i'm looking for, but again i'm finding it very difficult to get hold of actual routes and information.
any help gratefully received! i leave next week!!
