Crank Brothers Lifetime Warranty

I recently purchase a Crank Brothers Power Pump Alloy mini pump that was fantastic whilst it lasted, but disappointingly it's broken after just 2 months regular use (the "non-return" valve seems to have failed, so every backward-stroke sucks out all of the air that you've just pumped in).

Anyway, whilst browsing for a replacement I noticed that Crank Brothers actually offer a lifetime warranty on it (and a lot of their other products as it happens). Does anyone have experience of trying to get repairs/replacements from them? Do you need original receipts/paperwork, and does it have to be posted all the way back the US or is there a UK centre as well? I've tried emailing them, but alas no response yet.

The warranty applies to original buyer. So in theory you will need your reciept.
If you bought it from your LBS they will probably do it all for you.
If you bought it online most have an accounts section with will allow you to send items back giving reasons why.
After just 2 months you should take it up with the retailer

http://www.2pure.co.uk/ are the distributors in the UK and are IME very helpful with getting stuff replaced FOC (it happens a LOT with CB kit unfortunately...). As above though you should probably try the LBS you bought it from first though.

+1 for the UK distributors 2pure, they were very helpful in sending me a replacement bolt that had come off a CB pedal
