Hi all,
I have been lurking around here for a couple of months, reading all of the knowledgable advice that you officianados of all things two-wheeled/non engined are giving away for free.
The outcome is that at the grand old age of 43 I have replaced my ageing (1997) Diamondback Sorrento SE with a new, shiney, red and white Cube LTD Pro. It arrived on Monday and I have already clocked up 30 miles on local lanes and cycle ways (I know, I know, but I am getting used to it still). The bike feels amazing to me, but I can only compare it to the Diamondback. I bought mail order and used Cube's website to compare sizes to my old bike which showed I should get a 22" frame (6' 5"), it fits a treat and feels very comfortable.
I fell off of it this morning, which was great especially as it did not get a mark on the bike and there was not any blood (fell off sideways on a grassy bank when it slid from under me at low speed). Really enjoying myself and enjoying getting all sweaty
Anyway, thanks for all the advice.

Good stuff. Look forward to a review of your own after you've hammered a few trails.0

NIce one. What part of the country is home? Get that Cube out on some trails and it'll put an even bigger grin on your face!0

Piccies added.
Home is on the border of Leicestershire and Derbyshire. Peak District is not too far away and Charnwood Forest is just down the road.

loving the cube.
got my Cube Ltd. Race last week and finally got out on some trails last night. So much fun to be had.
You will love the cube - and they are not bad looking either0 -
I love the frames, not such a fan of the long stems, but the colour schemes on the frames are excellent!0

welcome to the cube family 8)0

Nice bike, watch the tyre pressures though or you will be in for a world of puncture repairs0

Anyone going to admit to having the black/fluoro green Cube? The one I saw had a health warning - you can look at the sun for longer without damaging your eyes!
...and this picture makes it look dull compared to the real thing!0
