Anyone have any experience with this, particularly the shorts/trousers? Looking for something that will serve on the bike but not be too bikey. They look really nice on the website...

I got a pair of the softshell 3/4 shorts, they are really well made and comfy, and look pretty good too. Pretty good value, esp. when you compare them to the rapha fixed shorts. I used them for commuting last winter and they were great, although when the rain really gets going they aren't as good as waterproofs, but they are more comfy to wear because of the soft backing of the softshell fabric
I would recommend them.0 -
I've got a couple of pairs of Swrve shorts. Well made, seem to last okay and fit well, but take care in the sizing as they come up a bit small. I've always used www.swrve.co.uk and have consistently had excellent service from Chris, who runs the site. Definitely recommended.0

thanking you. the softshell or the wind resistant both look nice.
As do the cotton ones :roll:___________________

got a pair of the WWR 3/4s - love them - superb quality, great fit (for me), tough lined, deep pockets in all the right places and a nice alternative if you like rapha but cant face the tweed on the fixed shorts... they are not hugely water resistant but they dry quickly.... look cool off the bike too....
No 2 on my list of favourite kit (1 being my rapha lightweight softshell jacket)
the herringbones are lovely too....
+1 on the sizing - be careful because it is variable between the materials even for the same garment - http://www.alwaysriding.co.uk/ have good advice on that...0
