First I've seen these, so figured it may be of interest to some, if like me you're a Specialized owner, (they are yet to add the 2010's to the European site verisons from what I can see) enjoy http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=45880&eid=4350

These seem to be the bikes that are available to the UK market (so far).
I was thinking of buying a 2010 Trek but a fellow forumite has said that they won't be in the stores until March - so Specialized looks like a good option.
Now I just have to decide on which bike.0 -

Nice, having had a quick look only I love the Tarmac comp colours and the Allez sport 27 is lovely looking too. I have an 08 Tarmac comp and it was worth every penny (mind you I got it in the sale at a very good price), I whacked a compact on and new tyres and it's been perfect for me.
Highly recommended here, but I have never ridden a Trek to be fair.
Have to say I'm a bit surprised at the prices though, but they did warn about rises across the industry I guess.0 -
Thanks for the info, Sonny.
I have a decent LBS who specialises in Specialized (heh!) - I think I'd receive a better service than I would from the other bike shop who stock Bianchi and Trek.
Deciding exactly WHICH bike I want is giving me a bit of a headache though.
My favourites are the Tarmac Elite - http://www.specializedconceptstore.co.u ... AC%20ELITE.
The Tarmac Comp - http://www.specializedconceptstore.co.u ... MAC%20COMP
The Roubaix Elite 20 - http://www.specializedconceptstore.co.u ... ELITE%2020
The only thing putting me off these Specialized bikes is that it's only the bike closer to £2000 that has a 105 crankset. Surely £1500 should get you a decent groupset?
The only other bikes that have interested me are the Trek 2.3 and the Trek Madone 4.5 (2010) - oh, and the Planet X bikes also look rather nice for the price.0 -
I snapped my 2008 Allez Elite in the middle tube. Bike has done 7000km. Bike has been sent to specialized for warranty assessment. Looks like they are covering it. Hopefully get a new frame in the coming weeks.2009 Cervelo S1

No worries, you could always go for the 09 comp to keep the price down. Like me you may be able to get a good sale price come September too.0 -
