Off Road routes in Scotland

I’m looking to head out for 2-3 days at a time for some off road stuff within Scotland – not particularly looking for anything too technical – just a decent track. I’ve earmarked a great looking round trip which I picked up from another post on this forum and am planning to try out in the next week or so starting from Spean Bridge heading up the Great Glen Way with a planned overnighter in Fort Augustus. Then it’s over the Corrieyairack Pass down to Laggan and back to Spean Bridge.

It’s this kind of thing I’m after so if anyone has got any suggested routes that they’ve tried I’d be glad to hear from you.

I’m going to try and keep my first outing simple by booking into a B&B in Fort Augustus but fancy the idea of stretching to a bit of Wild Camping for future trips. Need to get me some kit for the camping so any tips or advice on gear to get panniers/capacity/reasonable weights to carry on the bike/suitable 1 or 2 man tents (in case I can persuade the other half to come along).
