New forest/fordingbridge MTB routes

Just about to go to the new forest for a few days - so is it worth taking the bike? Does anyone know of any good off road routes in the area? Is it best to go into the forest itself or is the best riding outside?

    I was there last week, my family live there, they live in Hythe which is littiraly in the New Forest, I did not take my bike but my uncle assured me there are loads of trails in the forest! I went out to beulie one day & there was loads of MTB's out in the area, i was gutted !!! there is also a motocross dirt track down there somewhere which my uncle said he goes on all the time.
    From what I seen and was told i recon it is defo worth taking the rig down ! I certainly will be next time ! 8)
