i was looking at a carrera TDF and the sizing of these bikes were a little difficult to interpret as they are either M or L...................i require a 56cm ideally. the TDF was ok to ride but then again being a novice what do i really look, i did set it up in terms of saddle height but i did start to get a pain in between the backs of my shoulders. There's a local bike shop in my area and the chap has a viking san marino 56cm took this for a ride felt somewhat sturdier than the TDF....................the viking is only £10 more than the TDF so i'm looking for any opinions on which one to go for

Everything I have seen says the San Marino is 7 or 8 speed with a mix of kit, the TDF is 9 or 10 speed with entry Shimano kit. Cursory web glance says the TDF is the better buyNeil

I can't comment on the specific bikes but I have a Viking Firenza and I love it, it seems well built and is comfortable to ride.0

I've just ordered a Viking tandem for my daughter and me. I understand the brand is based in Manchester and assume Viking is just a sticker attached to the frame of a bike frame made in the far east. The tandem I have ordered is a low cost machine that actually gets good feedback on a tandem forum I'be been looking at. I can't wait for it to arrive!
