Whatever you feel about the guy he's given up his time to make a very memorable day to some cyclists. I'd love to have been there

LA in Paisley??? He'd better keep mobile, as he's likely to get his tyres slashed or nicked if he stops..... :shock:0

I live in Paisley. I was working and missed this. Gutted. As Angus stays I hope he checked his belongings before he left0

Hey Kevin, no offence, mate. I should have said Paisley or Brechin, he would be hanging onto his Trek for dear life I've got good mates in Paisley...
If I had heard about this earlier, I would have gone. Like him or not, going for a ride with LA would be something to remember.
Do you know anyone who went along?0 -
dont know anyone that went as far as I know, if I find anyone I will post their pics up.
after the disapointment of missing Lance, I am a celtic fan and its now 2-0 to arsenal (0 -

As a fellow supporter (sufferer), the expected gulf in ability was apparent. We could achieve the revenue we'll miss by not playing in the CL by selling Scott Brown for £10m. That's how much the Premier league middle rankers can afford to spend. Says it all really.
Ach but chin up. I think the Mowbray era will be a good one.Where the neon madmen climb0 -

Agreed! I like Scott Brown, but £10M? Take the money, Tony!0 -

According to the BBC, the majority of stuff posted on Twitter is pointless crap.0

Don't despair, I read on Bebo that Contador is going to Barry next week..........0 -
It said he tweeted on Monday so I am surprised it only made the news and not this forum yesterday.
Anyhow, great ad for Scotland. I just wish there was more footage of the ride.

If he only could have taken the whole Arsenal squad on a (very) long trip as well
I heard he was a bit confused by the offer "wach yer bike fur ye mister..." as he locked his Trek up up outside Hampden last night. He soon learned when it was propped by bricks after the gig however0 -

Like the bloke in a flash car that parked in the east end to be asked the same question by a local boy "Can ah watch yer motor fur ye mister?"
"Naw," came the reply with a smirk, "that's what the rottweiler in the back seat's for."
"Oh aye." said the lad, "Is it good at pittin' oot fires?"
I was sat in the office all day yesterday, on my own, just five miles from Paisley, and I had cycled in to work so I had bike and kit at hand but didn't know it was happening
I'm no big fan of LA but that would have been something special.

blimey, how many Lance in Scotland threads does one forum need?!!!
Anyway for those that have not seen it, they should read Alan's report with pics on P3 of this thread.0
