Going to get a pair of these shorts after reading so many of recommendations on this forum.
One question: does anyone own the the white ones and are there any issues with them being see-through / becoming see-through when wet? I'd hate to spend so much money and then be reluctant about wearing them!
The red ones look good too and would be my second option... but I've even had to return a pair of red Castelli bibs because they didn't leave much to the imagination! If anyone can tell me about the red nones I'd appreciate that too.
Thanks for looking and thanks in advance for any replies.

Hi donaldinho,
I can only comment on the blue ones... They are superb.
I would say just from looking at the quality of the material, that they wouldn't be seethrough
Much more than I could say for my dhb bibs... If they were in white, I'd probably have a criminal record by now!Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!0 -
go for black!
white shorts? - come on - they are surely asking for trouble no?
not just rain - a bt of sweat should see you showing more than you wanted!0 -

Be prepared to wash them separately from any black cycling kit and wash carefully by hand if you want to keep them white!
For general use, stick to black Assos bibs. Unless you ride a lot in Italy where full white is the law (and triathlon style tops with no sleeves are acceptable too).0
