Or should the £10 I paid for delivery by 1300 the next day mean that's when I recieve my goods? As it was I just got an e-mail from a certain online retailer (look to your right) telling me that my stuff had just left them

:evil: :evil: :cry::cry: :evil:

    Probably Royal Mail, always seems to be when delivery is late. Pi$$es me off too mate, I know how you feel ...
  • Chain Reaction say "I've no idea why it didn't ship yesterday. Probably a warehouse issue" Firstly, this doesn't ease my mood, as I wanted my new Sidis for the Hill Climb i'm doing tonight. However, they did refund my postage.

    I think this is just me, I was really looking forward to the best pair of cycling shoes I've ever stumped up for.

    no disrespect - but things CAN and often DO happen - which is outside of the control of people and as a results things 'promised' don't always get done.

    I would say that first off - its good that they refunded the difference, but secondly if you really wanted something for the next evening - it propbably would have been best to go to a shop and physically buy it.

    Online shopping is 99% good - 99% of the time so we all expect that things will work out like 'clockwork' but sometimes - unfortunately they don't.
    :D

    On the posative side - at least with old shoes tonight - you won't get blisters :D

    Just take out your anger on the hill climb, post a PB and then think how much faster you could have done it if only CRC had delivered on time!!

    Yeah I know things do happen... It was meant as a howl of frustration rather than a moan about chain reaction. It just seems that I seem to be the 1% of online shoppers who gets identity thefted, has stuff lost in the post or never arrive, gets the wrong thing sent or an e-mail a week later to say they never had it in the first place etc etc. So count yourself lucky folks, i'm taking up the slack for you all!

    And if you can recommend me a shop in West Cumbria thats open in the evenings and has a clown sized pair of Ergo 2s in with a 40% discount, I'd be very interested to hear from you :lol:

    Order things earlier...?

    I've taken a risk with CRC and ordered the day before I need something, and to be fair it has always turned up.

    Looks like bad luck this time, so the howl of frustration is justified even if it can't be directed at anyone!

    I just ordered some ink cartridges and some printable CDRs. Allegedly free same day despatch. Turns out the CDRs were out of stock so they will be sending everything just in time to arrive at the house as we are boarding the plane to go on holiday. And I was hoping to be able to print out the holiday insurance details to take with me! To add insult to injury then they send me an email to say I can get a 10% discount on blank disks!

    Nothing to do with bikes, just wanted a moan.

  • Post has been and still no sign. I know they left Chain Reaction yesterday... Inputting the tracking number to Royal Mail gets me a message tha tit hasn't reached their mailing centre yet.

    Turns out despite sending me an e-mail at 12:48pm yesterday tellin gme they'd shipped, Chain Reaction diodn't hand them to a delivery driver until 7pm. So I won't get them until tomorrow. What's the betting they downgraded my delivery to 48hrs after they refunded me to cut their losses?
