  • Not strictly a bike shop, but if you're looking for mechanics, I thoroughly recommend www.thebikewhisperer.co.uk - they're super quick / efficient / lovely and not expensive. And have sorted me out at short notice when another bike shop let me down.

Can't recommend any, but found these on Google:

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q= ... =&aq=f&oq=
    FCN 2-4.

"What happens when the hammer goes down, kids?"
    "It stays down, Daddy."
    "Exactly."
  • Ealing Bikes on Bond Street - definite touring/shopper focus, but just catering to his clientele, the older bloke who seems to run the place is very friendly and helpful.

  • Bike Whisperer without a doubt, they're local heroes and well known. Very, very honest and prices/service beat those of any other place I have been.

    Ho ho.

He's famously rude, I mean literally.

Last time I came out of that shop I vowed never to go in there again.

Things might've changed though, OP give it a go and see what happens, and I've usually no trouble coaxing a smile out of the surliest of people.

In the meantime here's the local LCC group's list:

If its just bits you want your probably better off witht he Evans in Chiswick (sorry)....

If its repairs then I'm not sure to be honest, I never took my bike into ealing cycles as I never needed their help luckily!
We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Huh, he's never been anything but lovely to me!

He even ordered in my SPD sandals for me in 3 sizes so I could try them and sent the 2 I didn't want back quite happily.
