held 16th august-
absolutely fantastic ride-
excellent changing facilities at start and finish-
realy good route along quiet country lanes for the most part, good split between climbs, flats and descent-
best signage on a sportive I have yet seen
feed stations and lunch provided
marshalls at all busy junctions
sweeper van and st johns ambulance in attendance
an absolute bargain at £25 plus £25 sponsorship plus t-shirt and medal at the end
sign up for next year's and enjoy the absolutely stunning yorkshire scenery and,
just hope it not as windy as yesterday

I actually go to York University and was gutted that I couldn't go as it starts and finishes at Uni!
Next year it would be great if it was in term time. The Uni team would love to do the sportive and we could get a nice big team together to help tackle it. May even be able to provide some volunteers to help at the race HQ.
Just a thought..."I hold it true, what'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost;
Than never to have loved at all."
