i have had 2 of these now and the thread in the crankarm where the pedal screws into has worked loose after 10-12 months on both. evans are looking into whether the warranty is continued up to 12 months or is issued as new on replacement. i'm hoping its under warranty as its a bloody expensive new bit of kit to replace and i'd be loathe to spend the £200+ it will cost to repair if its going to fail again in a year. if it isn't under warranty i believe i have 2 options (without buying as new bike!),
1. is there a really good adhesive i could try to get around the threaded piece or
2. a replacement crankset alternative to the si i could use?
