Wait, so your sitting in front of this screen, and a herd of donkeys suddenly rushes past your window, and you rush out on your crutches, and herd them all back home? :?

    Post of the month =]
  • Well, aside from being on here, am having numerous phone calls with clients (I am a graphic designer) and doing artsy things, have nearly finished for today though, then I shall unpack my new wheels for the cannondale that arrived today, as well as two large boxes from Wiggle and CRC, and shall attempt to get a rolling chassis together....

    Life is good! :D

I once looked out of the window to find a cow in the garden munching the hedge. Quite surreal.
  • My monday did not start well:

    Wake up with hangover
Go to bathroom to discover there's no hot water for a shower
Discover my "clean" clothes are stinking as I put the detergent in the wrong bit of the drawer on the washing machine
Get on bike (from which i removed my mudgaurd when taking off my broken lights)
    Start cycling...RAIN
Arrive at work, hungover, soaked, unwashed and with a stinking t-shirt on.

Things are looking up though. Have now been home to wash\change\eat.

After watching the freerun championship - trying to hold myself horzontally off a vertical pole - nearly cracked it - but it hurts...
  • Today, alarm went off at 3.15am, got up at 3.45am, started work 4.10am, at some point this afternoon I stopped for a piss in a layby at the side of the A21 and found £10 on the floor RESULT, finished work 3.15pm, home, use laptop (now), then in a bit it'll be: bath, dinner, xbox, bed.

I get up when I want, except on wednesdays, when I get rudely wakened by the dustmen. I put my trousers on, have a cup of tea, and I think about leaving the house. I feed the pigeons, I sometimes feed the sparrows too, it gives me a sense of enormous well-being. And then Im happy for the rest of the day, safe in the knowledge there will always be a bit of my heart devoted to it.
  • I have had the most fruitful day of my looong summer holiday today. This is how it went.......
Mowed the lawn, watered the leeks  ,oiled every single individual chain link both sides on all the bikes in the house/shed/garage, watched dave, made pancakes for breakfast/lunch and drank a LOT of tea. I've also nearly managed to nail a 360 barspin but called it a day when a 'sensitive' part of my lower anatomy made aggressive contact with the top tube. Maybe tomorrow.
All in all a good day

Not at work until Thursday this week (shift pattern).

Bike carrier for the car came in the post this morning (not exactly through the letterbox, but you know what I mean). Spent about an hour putting that together and adjusting it to fit. Loaded the bikes on and drove round the block for a test.

Then polished motorbike to within an inch of it's life, and went out for a whizz. Covered in dead flies again now.

Will probably get the old MTB out on Weds this week.

I had the day off. So I stayed in bed til 12, got up, monkeyed around the house for a bit, went for a ride, made us a gigantic meal for dinner, then spent the evening happily spannering on the motorbike and on the Soul in the garage listening to the Mull Historical Society. I ****ing love mondays! Now, I'm going to play computer games til 3am, just because everyone else is asleep and because I can.
