The bottom bracket is creaking on my Kinesis Maxlight T. I have a 3x9 speed Campag Centaur set up. Ribble offer 2 options for a replacement

Eng BS68-115.5mm
Ital IT70-115.5mm

I would guess that it is the English one but any one sure ? Also what tools do I need for removal. Everything I have was for Shimano BBs

thanks
EV

About the only thing thats useable between Campag and Shimano is the BB tool, so you should be fine.

Can't help with which BB to get, mines English and assume that yours would be too, however................

Just realised that there are 2 axel lenghts also 111 and 115.5. It is not an oversized seattube so should be 111???

111mm is for a double chainset - you need a 115mm with BS thread. FWIW the Campagnolo and Shimano tools for this kind of BB are different - it's only for external bearing BBs are the tools similar. Before you ditch the old BB, are you sure it needs replacing - rock the cranks back and forth - it'll only need replacing if there is any perceptable play - the creaking might just mean you need to grease the cups.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    .

    Eh?

To remove and fit the new Centaur BB (the one listed on Ribble) you need a Campag cassette lockring tool, the same as for the Chorus+Record BBs:

This is what I'm talking about, but as Monty said the BB that the OP needs is not the external type.

And let me assure you that I have used it to service both Campag and Shimano BB's.
