Saracen Trace 2

Hi. I'm new to this forum :D

Just wondering if anyone have had any experience with the Saracen Trace 2 (09)?

I have one on order with Wiggle but there has been a delay due to them receiving a batch of faulty disc brakes. I did a google search on the disc brakes and it seems that some other people have had trouble with the same brakes but on different bikes.

There is no info on the web about the Trace 2. No reviews or anything. I ordered one as the spec seems to be very good at the price. Just wanted to know anyones opinions.

    not bad frame & components, but a pretty average fork (Dart 2), much better forks to be had.

    If you paid the £330 in the sale @ Wiggle you got a good buy, if you paid the full £660 it's a bit overpriced with those forks on it.

    I paid the sale price (£330) :D

    I'm pretty new the MTB so I think the dart 2s will do me for now. I can always upgrade later. As long as it's a decent enough bike to be upgrading then I'm happy.

    Yup, the frame is pretty good & worth a few upgrades.

    Hi mate

    Did your Trace 2 arrive? Mine (for the wife) came yesterday and we are putting it together this weekend. Any tips? How are you finding it?
