I'm selling a bike, can get hold of a box, but not sure who to post it with.

Which companies have you used before? and how much does it cost?

The parcelforce 48 service is very reasonable

  • I just took receipt of a bike delivered (and I use the term loosly) by City-Link. Avoid like the plague.

The collection was missed 3 times and their online tracking didnt get updated once during the shambles. Finally turned up randomly a few days later. Customer Service staff were worse than useless.
  • Definately worth a look at interparcel.com, should work out cheaper than Parcelforce and if you use their economy service it's done by UPS, you can pay by paypal and I've used them loads of times for big motorcycle bits and have had no trouble.
Parcelforce managed to snap a pushchair clean in half that I sent earlier on this year, which was unexpected.
