adult stablisers

i cant ride a 2 wheler bike has anyone had any experiece of putting stablisers on an adult bike

i would hope that after a while i would not need them

i am 5 0 tll nd about 15 stone

    Try converting it to a runbike.

    Drop the saddle, remove the pedals and scoot around on it until you feel comfortable with the balance.

    That's EXACTLY how my daughter learnt to ride.

    No running behind holding onto the saddle for me, I took her stabilisers off and she just scooted around in the garden/driveway for a while until she was comfortable (like you say).

    Took her about 3hrs while I was clearing out some junk from the garage, and she was away.
