...just watching the coverage on BBC HD... nice pictures, and looking at the impressive physical attributes of many of these atheletes (especially female sprinters) makes me wonder why Toyota are sponsoring the championships and not say Amgen, Glaxo.....:lol:

I liked the way the cameraman was filming the female walkers' backsides as they passed under the Brandenburg gate...

Some weird shapes, too, from some of the women competitors (token country entrants!)who have been totally outclassed on the track...
One of the women 100m sprinters, from ASA (wherever that is) was about 3 stone heavier than anyone else, and about 10 seconds down!....

switched to eurosport HD... in the womens walking there is a bloke riding a bike with a number 1 on it... wearing the worst GOLD cyle helmet I've ever seen... I must have one !

Surely he should be disqualified, then!... It's a 'womens' race and he's not walking!
There was a guy on rollerblades, loitering in the background, too...

I watched Bolt in his 100m qualifying heat, in which he cruised home in the lead. It was said that he'd had worked hard for the first 30-40m, before relaxing!!!

Is Bolt the next drug sensation waiting to be exposed?
