planet x or cube

I currently have a trek pilot 2.1 (2005). Since getting into the occasional triathlon I am considering getting something a bit quicker. I love the 2.1 though!!! Very comfy.
I have trawled through the internet and local shops and I am a bit stuck.
Lots of people recommend the Planet-x SL pro carbon andthe boardman team carbon. I have also seen good deals on the Cube Streamer, Trek 1.9 and Wilier La Triestina Mirage.
I know I have to make my own mind up but the reason I am stuck is I have sat on (trial ride tomorrow) the Cube, Trek and Wiler but not the other 2.
The planet and Boardman look fantasticvalue but I might not get to try the Boardman before buying and I certainly won't get to try the PLanet before buying.
Any thoughts would be helpful, but if you can tell me what you base your opinion on that would be fab (i.e.have you ridden any of them). I am 6 foot tall and weigh 14 st.
