That offer with the box of goodies, it was one per household, has anyone tried to order more than one though? Or address it to other people in the house, and have your succeeded? I'm sure someone said it's being done before, might have being dreaming like.

Thanks
Will

so when you ordered the next one, did you use the same card? I had the first one delivered to my work and was thinking on having one delivered to my home and another one to my mother in laws.

Yes, I used the same card and e-mail address just put in my Dads name for his address and my wifes maiden name for her home address and so on and so forth, even persuaded some of my none cycling mates to order some for me

Don't use Bhima though. He'll keep all the bottles and zip tie them to that bike of his.

    No I wont.

I've already got 17 zip tied on now, there's clearly no room for any more.

Tried the energy drink today, had a fantastic ride but not sure it was responsible, tasted awful TBH (the Lemon one).
Then had the choc recovery drink, again not a great taste.
    Not tried the bars yet.

The bars are actually quite nice but, yeah, the energy drinks made me retch - not good to be avoiding your water bottle when you're out on a ride on a hot day!
  • I liked the energy drinks, but the recovery drink is rank! it's almost as bad as the orange caffeine gel ( i was nearly sick with that)
I was going to buy some of the energy drink off the site as they have it on bogof but you get chocolate as the freebie and not the energy drink. :x
The choc orange recovery bar is superb though.

I liked everything, the energy drinks especially becuase they're not very sweet. I used the lemon one last weekend and I was flying up the hills with ease :D

the gel is like rocket fuel but I didn;t get the caffiene one and I liked the taste, like squidgy opal fuits. The bars were lovely and the recovery drink is no worse than unflavoured protein powder with nesquick so a big thumbs up from me. I could work the store into a ride loop and stock up en route 8)

Well I've just ordered another box for a really long ride on Sunday, don't know if the order will go through as I had it on Visa and my card is actually a Visa debit.

The gels don't taste the best but it's not the taste what counts imo it's the fact that they're like rocket fuel!!
  • Anyone have a link for this? And do you have to buy anything to get it?

    Cheers,

It's a good offer. I liked the stuff they sent in the taster pack and bought quite a bit; they had some BOGOF offers on the large tubs of carbo drinks - great value & decent quality. The choco carbo bars are excellent IMO and I quite liked the protein bars...although I might just stick to pork pies for now!

The chocolate orange protein bars taste great.
The uncoated chocolate energy bars are a bit sticky but palatable during long rides and give a real kick.

Well they refunded the monies as they know I've ordered, I've got 3 other addresses in the street so going to try one now.

So if I order to another houshold, I can use my card and my address for the card, just the delivery address different?

Will they allow it? The address is exactly the same apart from house number.

Already ordered from there back in march for the Cheshire Cat :(

Went and bought these today for the long ride on Sunday, 160ish miles, should have enough there hopefully, never tried any of this before so don't know how good it is.

The Torq bars are lovely, best of the ones I have tried.

SiS smart gels are not too bad, not as nice tasting as the non caffeine ones, but you do get a little kick from them.

Energy drink I like, it is quite sweet, though if you use that packet in a 750 ml bottle it will be a bit watered down, they are made for 500ml bottles.

Rego is an OK taste, not tried the berry flavour, I usually use the vanilla one, which I quite like.

Is this comparing the cost of them?

For the price of an energy bar, I can get between 10-20 bananas round the corner.

I can't and don't like carrying 20 bananas in my back pocket on a hot day too.

I've attempted to order another energy box to a neighbour, if they reject this order I'll kindly ask them to modify the promotion to 1 per car per household per person.
