currently on the 08 kona coilair there is a 165mm marzocchi 55 tst2 fork
if i were to put a 170 - 180 mm fork on the bike, is it likely to cause any damage to frame etc etc
is it 165mm for a reason ?

    it would,

    1 cancel any warrenty.

    2 mess up the geometry

    3 handle like a pig

it is not designed for it.

if you want that much travel on the front you have the wrong bike.

Buy a Stinky frame, will handle up to 200mm travel up front
