Not sure what to get although i am interested in the Cotic Bfe. I want something that i can take to the jump areas and have fun but also ride trails for 2/3 hours...any ideas? 8)

DMR Trailstar? Always been popular among the more jumping oriented trail rider.
  • Yes, this is a frame i have considered, my fun bike is currently a Planet-x Armadillo and i maybe fancy a change, how the Trailstar compares to this i don't know.

When I had a go on one (many many years ago!) I loved the trailstar. It felt just like a big wheeled BMX.
But, admittedly, a lot of other very very similar frames are on the market these days, so the difference may not be that noticeable.

Ragley's mmmBop and Blue Pig would be well worth a look. Need a good quality 140mm fork, mind, so you'd have to factor that in.
  • The thought of a bike riding like a big wheeled bmx sounds great and sure to put a smile on my face  as for the Ragley frames they're just out so very limited feedback on those although Brant has consistently produced great frames. Also i would like to try steel again as i had a Cindercone in the early nineties and absolutely loved that bike until it was stolen when i decided to have a crafty pint on a ride
