Is this a new pack, new bike, new parts?
Unless it's a new stuff, i suggest checking your setup. if you are too stretched out on the bike it can be aggravated by a heavy pack.--

hi mate, i used to have panniers but i dont carry much to work so my pack isn't large or heavy. It is new carrying a backpack tho.I also dont commute every day, more fairweather so up in scotland thats not too often! lol0 -
Probably just your muscles getting used to the new loading.
Try putting it lower down on your back, and try to make sure it is centred and not tilted to one side.--

Maybe try it for a couple of day with the panniers , if the neck pain continues , it wasn;t the backpack. Eliminate the variablesThe universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle. ...Stapp’s Ironical Paradox Law
