Read about this a few days ago. Having done the streets in cars, Google are now taking to bikes to get to the areas where cars can't go, such as Stonhenge.

I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    In http://www.googlebike.com/en.htmcan also calculate routes you want to bike and gives you much information. okay.

    Didn't like my Firefox either. There is no way IE is going back on my 'puter - Googlebikes or not.

    Works with Google Chrome. Can't say I'm taken with it; the pictures look very dated. Some of the rouundabouts are wrong, so is some of m'parents farm, and it doesn't recognise some fairly common place names. And it defaults to Spain too for some reason. BikeHike will do, for now at least.

    the map and, the place names and all that is the Google Earth, is one plugin
