Carbon breakages?

There’re many people who won’t use carbon because they are worried it’ll snap but has anyone actually had carbon bars break or frames split, etc? As in, from proper use, all torque guidelines adhered to, didn’t jump off the roof of a house, there wasn't already a dink in it, etc. What I'm asking is, has anyone had any carbon components break under circumstances when they shouldn’t/wouldn't be expected to? Is there really anything to worry about or not?

All materials can break - percentage wise MBUK have had more titanium frames break on them than anything else.0 -
Ive seen two carbon frames break from just fatigue. Just from general xc use, no hard riding, no hard racing, no silly stuff, light weight rider. One after a year of use, another after 2 years.0
