Starts Tuesday with a prologue, followed by 7 stages (ends with a TT).

Luckily the website is a bit more easy to navigate than the Vattenfall one:

http://www.enecotour.com/

Stage info and profiles:

http://www.sport.be/enecotour/2009/fr/parcours/

I'm guessing that stages 3 and 6 are so flat the graphics people couldn't be bothered to open Photoshop and draw a straight, horizontal line across the page. But check out stage 4's mountaintop finish! :D

Provisional start list:

http://www.sport.be/enecotour/2009/fr/n ... _ID=382767

Past winners:

2008 GUTIERREZ PALACIOS José Ivan
2007 GUTIERREZ PALACIOS José Ivan
2006 SCHUMACHER Stefan
2005 JULICH Bobby (USA )

Not on telly by the looks of it. I like this race - it's like the Tour of Flanders before the cobbles and hills. It's the real Benelux. Love that street furniture.

Did you see the finish of Vattenfall today? Traffic islands, central reservations, cones in the middle of the road for no apparent reason, barriers with feet sticking out... I thought I was already watching some Dutch racing
