I've been struggling with this for more than half a year, but it's bloddy hard to do longer distances.
I can do 10 to 20 yards at the best if I'm lucky, but anything further is impossible.
Plus I don't have control over the direction I want to go, and I always tend to push the
right pedal down, left goes up, and the front wheel down. I can't keep both pedals in the
same level for longer time.

So manual experts, and everyone else put your wisdom here,
just in case I'm missing something which would improve my manual.

Will post video from me when I can do longer manual, lets hope it will be soon.

It's all down to technique and core strength I think. Find the perfect balance point on the rear and stay there.

I've never really had to manual more than 10/20 yards though

That's like saying i want a door for my car that doesn't meet the roof, because I once had the wind blow it shut when I was getting in, and I had my head squished between, well, the door and the roof.

Aye, if you're doing it for 10 to 20 yards, it's probably 10 to 20 yards more than 99% of people on here

Haha, agreed.. say some youngsters on DJ bikes impressing their teen fillies with loooong manuals and euqally impressive stoppies.. it's a sort of pedal powered mating ritual

    Indeed, plus it's fun. :D
Find the perfect balance point on the rear and stay there.
It's easy to find it, but keep it there it's hard, can't concentrate keeping the pedals leveled.
The right leg wants to dominate. :?

Btw, I can't be the only one that can manual this long,
there is got to be someone that can manual for miles.
